The traditional morning coat is a British institution, it is said that every true gentleman should have a morning coat in his wardrobe and a good coat will last him a lifetime. Traditional morning wear comprises of a herringbone tailcoat most commonly in black or navy blue, a pair of striped morning trousers and a waistcoat. Traditionally this would be worn with a necktie, top hat and a pair of black Oxfords, however nowadays, especially for weddings, there is a little more flexibility.
We supply ready-to-wear traditional herringbone morning coats in four colours as well as lightweight options in another four colours, plus a range of striped and matching trousers. We also offer waistcoats of our own design geared toward formal functions, such as our ever popular fawn herringbone double-breasted, and new for this season our new range of horseshoe double breasted and notch-lapel single breasted waistcoats in a choice of cloths.
